Theranaturals' GSH is Endotoxin-Free

The UVICF has inquired of Theranaturals (theranat@itsnet.com), which supplies both free acid GSH powder of pharmaceutical grade, as well as pH-adjusted GSH Plus, whether the glutathione they use is endotoxin-free. It is very important for cystic fibrosis persons that any substance they might introduce into their lung environment be endotoxin-free.

Theranaturals hired Nelson Laboratories, Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah to test their GSH products for endotoxins of any kind. On 1 March 2000, the UVICF received a full copy of the report by Nelson Laboratories, which describes their testing procedure in great detail. The test, which is valid according to the current state of the art testing procedures, shows that the test results are far below allowable endotoxin levels under government regulations. Indeed, for our purposes the products can be considered endotoxin-free.
